Welcome to Primrose Gate Medical Centre
Primrose Gate Medical Centre opened in October 2008. It is custom built, wheelchair accessible and is situated in a ground floor unit in Primrose Gate, Celbridge. There is ample free parking in the adjacent carpark. The practice offers the usual full range of General Practice Services in addition to other special services.

-EU visitors who have a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC)
Our Team
Dr. Cliona Ryan is a graduate of Trinity College, Dublin. Following Internship she undertook a formal three year vocational training programme in General Practice and became a member of the Irish College of General Practitioners in 2000. She established Primrose Gate Medical Centre in 2008.
Dr. Ryan’s qualifications include MB BCH BAO BA (TCD), MICGP (Member of the Irish College of General Practitioners), DCH (Diploma in Child Health), DObs (Diploma in Obstetrics), DWH (Diploma in Women’s Health), DME (Diploma in Medicine of the Elderly), DPsych (Diploma in Psychiatry), and Cert. FP (Certificate in Family Planning).
Ms. Trina Tracey is our practice nurse. Trina is a Registered General Nurse and Midwife. With the doctors’ support she runs the Childhood Immunisation Programme, the Cervical Screening Programme, the Seasonal Flu Vaccination Programme and the Diabetes Clinic within the practice. She is an experienced Midwife and has completed courses in Family Planning and Breast Feeding.
Ms. Irene Dunne and Ms. Ashley McEvoy are our practice Receptionists/Secretaries.
